ASIS Switzerland Chapter concluded the year with a sold-out success at their final event at Millenium in Lausanne-Crissier. Attendees were treated to compelling talks by Mr. Platen on 'Background Checks - The Do’s and Don’ts' . Mr. Loth , Head of the Diplomatic Security Protection Group with information about their internal organization, the security challenges they face, and operational commitments for VIP's and dignitary protection in Switzerland and finally, Mr. Suhner , Deputy Chief of Police for the Canton of Vaud, discussing emerging threats and the collaboration between law enforcement and corporate security. The event offered a perfect blend of insights, networking, and a relaxed cocktail hour, setting the stage for an exciting 2024. This event closes the designed strategy for the year which saw record attendance during each and every event organized as well as a perfect balance between the 2 linguistic region with French and German speaking regions. It is highly likely a similar strategy will be repeated through 2024 with date communicated in January after the Annual General Meeting. We wish all our members and Security specialists a peaceful end of year.
